High qualified team of specialists and multidisciplinary approach

There is a strong rationale for multidisciplinary team working. As disease management becomes increasingly complex, bringing together a group of experts, all of whom can independently contribute to a diagnosis and suggested treatment strategy is important. 

In MC Nairi the multidisciplinary team in different specialty is founded.  The use of multidisciplinary in-hospital teams limits adverse events (AE), improves outcomes, and adds to patient and employee satisfaction.

This makes advantages in process of correct diagnostics and treatment of the patients, especially in complicated and difficult cases. Patients are able to obtain consultation of various specialists at once. During the council of multidisciplinary team in Nairi MC it is possible to hold discussion and obtain opinion of well known specialists from other hospitals in Armenia and abroad through the telemedicine technology.

The Therapeutic Multidisciplinary Team consisted from different specialists as neurologist, oncologist, gynecologist, cardiologist, surgeon etc.  

The Multidisciplinary Team in Surgery allow to specialists perform combined surgical intervention in case of complicated and combined surgical pathology.

 

There is also an Oncology Multidisciplinary Team - Tumor Board , which includes а specialists in oncology of various profiles. This makes it possible to quickly and accurately diagnose and jointly develop a single tactic and strategy for the comprehensive treatment of cancer patients, taking into account the opinions of specialists in various fields, even in extremely difficult cases.
