Ultrasound examination, due to its high information value, non – invasiveness, fast performance, possibility of multiple examination without any health hazard, takes one of the leading places among the examination methods. With introduction of new computer technologies, diagnostic and visualization facilities of ultrasound method have been significantly enriched, which allowed using it not only for diagnostic purposes and for control of performed treatment’s effectiveness (for screening control, which allows to detect a necessity of patient’s further pre-examination and treatment), but also as a visual control to perform some treatment procedures and interventions.
In "Nairi" Medical Center work high-skilled specialists in the field of radiology that underwent the training in the countries of CIS as well as abroad (the USA, Philadelphia, Austria, France, Germany) and have long-term experience. Their long-term experience suggests that even if the patients have no complaints, during ultrasound examinations one or other abnormality could be discovered in different structures and organs. Preclinical researches are extremely important once per year (or once per 6 months) for contemporary diagnostics and treatment.
Our clinic is equipped with modern fixed and portable equipment of high and expert class ultrasound diagnostics, with multifrequent probes and modern technologies from Siemens (Acuson Antares, Siemens 2000, S-3000), with wide spectrum of diagnostic facilities, perfect level of visualization, with Doppler – examination programs, panoramic scanning, imaging in real time.
High level of ultrasound visualization allows to increase the detection of pathologies, more clearly and accurately examine a smallest structure of tissue and to increase the effectiveness of differentiating diagnostics, which raises the detection of diseases on earlier stages of development, and to ensure their more effective treatment.
Ultrasound examination is performed to study:
- organs of abdominal cavity,
- kidneys, adrenal glands
- thyroid glands,
- lymphatic nodes and salivary glands,
- mammary glands,
- small pelvis organs of women and men,
- soft tissues and joints,
- triplex scanning of main vessels and vessels of internals,
- Ultrasound examination during pregnancy in all trimesters,
- Doppler – graph of uteroplacental and fetal blood flow,
- ECHOCG and stress ECHOCG,
- solid imaging of fetus or any other organ.
