Throat cancer usually develops in the mucous membrane of the throat, which can be caused by various harmful factors, the biggest of which is the long-term harmful effects of tobacco smoke. In case the tumor is located in the thickness of the mucous membrane or spreads in the thickness of the vocal cords, but does not affect the cartilage elements of the throat, it is possible to remove the tumor while preserving the vocal system. After this surgery, the healing of the function disorders such as the loss of the voice and speech, caused by the removal of the throat is particularly difficult.
