Which Lymph Nodes Are Examined?

- Cervical lymph nodes – examined for infections, inflammations, tumors, or thyroid gland diseases.
- Preauricular and postauricular lymph nodes – checked when ear, scalp, or salivary gland diseases are suspected.
- Submandibular and submental lymph nodes – evaluated for dental problems, infections, and tumors.
